Durango, Colorado
Web Design and Development for Small Businesses.
Waterfall Digital builds sites for small businesses — then keeps them fast, secure, and current every month after.
The problem
Most web work ends the day the invoice is paid.
Plugins go out of date. Content goes stale. Security patches get missed. Six months later the site that once looked great quietly stops working for you — and there's no one keeping watch.
Work
Projects I've recently worked on.

Sheltered Strategies
A speech-language pathology practice in Durango offering individualized speech and language therapy for kids, in person and via telehealth.

Anna Layden Educational Consulting
An independent educational consultant across the Four Corners region, providing psychoeducational evaluations that inform IEP and 504 planning.

Durango 2030
The official site for the 2030 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, returning to Durango — the event's original 1990 host city.
Web development
The work you can point to right now.
Custom builds typically run $1,400–$3,200, scoped to your project — every engagement starts with a written, itemized proposal before any work begins.

Consulting & support
Beyond the website.
Two ways I work with businesses and nonprofits that need more than a build: ongoing hands-on help, or a scoped project to modernize how your systems work together.
IT Consulting & Systems Support
Microsoft 365/Entra setup, Intune device management, network storage, SharePoint hubs, and on-site or remote support — billed hourly since the scope varies by request.
$60/hr · $40/hr for nonprofits
Digital Operations & Systems Consulting
Technology modernization assessments, phased migration proposals, and CRM/database evaluation — a collaborative recommendation, not a directive.
e.g. $1,200–$1,640 for a phased nonprofit systems modernization
About
More about me.
My name is Ivan Sippy and I grew up in Durango and got on a bike at four years old through the Durango Devo program — it's been part of my life ever since. These days I race MTB and cyclocross at the Elite level for Team Durango Segment 28, which means a lot of my year is spent traveling to races, training, and trying to hold together a race calendar and a full course load at the same time. I just finished a degree in Computer Information Systems at Colorado Mesa University, with a minor in Exercise Science, and somewhere in there also worked six years at Mountain Bike Specialists, which is where a lot of my patience for troubleshooting things comes from.
I started Waterfall Digital to help small businesses in Durango and beyond get a website and system that actually works for them, and to keep it that way. I know what it's like to have a site built and then be left on your own to figure out how to keep it running, and I wanted to offer a better way.
